Sheet 1 — Dimensioned Plan (to scale)
- Closure checks: 180½ + 173⅜ = 353⅞ = 302¼ + 51⅝ ✓ · 190¼ + 51⅞ = 242⅛ ≈ 242 ✓
- The far-left outer edge was taped at 97½″; the reconciled drawing closes at 99⅜″ (51⅞ + 47½). The 1⅞″ difference is absorbed there — every other written dimension is honored exactly.
Sheet 2 — Tile Layout with Perimeter Ramp (12″ grid, computed)
Beveled ramp edging, 2″ deep (9⁄16″ → 0)
Full tile (uncut)
Cut piece
- The 2″ beveled ramp runs around the entire outline — the tile field is the deck inset 2″ on every side, so the assembly finishes flush with the deck edge and ramps from the 9⁄16″ tile height down to the surface.
- Six outside corners take the 2″ × 2″ beveled corner pieces; at the two inside corners (corridor junctions) the strips simply butt together.
- Grid anchored top-right of the main field; cuts fall on the far and bottom rows. Because the field is 176½″ × 238″ (not a 12″ multiple), a ~8½″ cut column and ~10″ cut row are unavoidable — still full-size pieces, one per donor tile.

Calculation D — Landed Cost to Anguilla (Supplier Comparison)
Anguilla import charges (current regime): the 13% GST at the port was repealed effective
1 Aug 2025 and replaced by a 9% Import Goods Tax (IGT). Imports now pay:
Import Customs Duty (5–25% by tariff class — 15% assumed for plastic floor coverings, HS 3918;
confirm with your broker) + Customs Service Charge (6% assumed; some classes 1%) on CIF,
then 9% IGT on (CIF + duty + CSC). No de minimis — charges apply from the first dollar.
Option A — Cactus Mat Dri-Dek via WebstaurantStore (US)
Option B — V-Tiles via Alibaba (Changzhou Feng Xinhe, quoted $1.60/tile, MOQ 300)
Verdict
- Freight assumptions: Option A — US domestic freight to a Miami consolidator plus weekly Miami→Anguilla/St. Maarten LCL service. Option B — China→Caribbean LCL (~1 CBM minimum billed; shipment is ~0.7 CBM / ~200 kg); min charges dominate at this size. Ranges reflect forwarder quotes still to be obtained.
- Option B edging prices are estimates (supplier quote pending): strips est. $0.60, corners est. $0.40. Tile price $1.60 is the listed MOQ-300 price; sand color may adjust it.
- Duty rate is the swing factor: at 10% the totals drop ~4%, at 25% they rise ~9% — the A-vs-B gap barely moves because both pay the same percentages.
- Option A goods price rises 11% on 1 Aug 2026 ($3,940 → $4,322); Option B is unaffected.
- Lead time: Option A ~1–2 weeks to Miami + weekly sailing ≈ 3–4 weeks total. Option B production + sailing ≈ 6–9 weeks.
